Biography

Ever since Jack picked up a pair of sticks at the age of 10, it was clear that drumming would be a passion for life. He continued to practice and perform throughout his childhood into his teen years where he joined his first band Facade, then going on to join various local London bands The Karmakodes, Holding It Down and Blueprint.

By 2009, Jack left the local band scene in search of achieving his real musical goal, becoming a professional session musician. Jack has learnt from many leading educators including the likes of Tony Mason (Mary. J Blige, Al Green, Daniel Beddingfield), Mark Mondesir (Julian Joseph, John McLaughlin and Kevin Eubanks), Geoff Isaacs (Kent's leading drum teacher), Justin Scott (Rod Stewart, Sophie Ellis-Bextor), Graham Cutill (Gloria Estefan, The Foundations) & Richard Patterson (The Institute of Contemporary Performance) to name a few.

He attended North West Kent College in South-East London between 2008 - 2011 where he achieved an overall Distinction in both Music Performance Diploma and Higher Diploma while sitting in the drum chair for soul artist Jocelyn Brown. This inspired Jack to further his education by attending The Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance in London, where he was educated in the various cultures, history and genres of music.

Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Jeff Porcaro, Tony Royster jr, Rex Hardy jr, Vinnie Coluieta, Mike Johnston, Travis Barker, Aaron Spears and Steve Jordan have all been major influences on Jack's life and still are.

In 2012 Jack was called up to co. Compose the London Olympic Torch Relay Medley alongside The AllStars Collective Session Group, as well as performing in front of 20,000 people by supporting Rizzle Kicks. (Broadcast live on BBC and CNN).

In early 2013 he began to work in the studio with artists Darren B, We-Humans and The Kevin East Jam as well as playing the london music scene with his own 10 piece dynamic function band The Global Collective.

As of 2015 to the present day, Jack is working with R&B artist Christina Maria, Pop singer/songwriter Carlo Vetere, Is That Jazz?, Reformation Blues Club and The Bruno Mars Experience. While teaching drums & percussion as part of the All About The Band, Sounds of South London and Beatz Family projects.
